Laraʼ (also spelled Luru, Berkati, Bakati, Bekatiq, Bekatiʼ Nyam-Pelayo, Bekatiʼ Kendayan, and Rara Bakatiʼ) is a language spoken by about 19,000 people in Borneo, on the Indonesian (West Kalimantan) [1] and Malaysian (Sarawak) sides of the island. Many different Christian missionaries collected knowledge about it.
