[dezie | dezie ebe o si]To expand Igbo Wiktionary by adding Igbo names ( plants, animals and humans) that are currently missing in Igbo wiktionary, enhancing the linguistic and cultural heritage of the Igbo people.
This project aims to: Identify and document Igbo names not yet included in Igbo Wiktionary; Create new entries for these names, and Provide accurate definitions,and usage examples.
Project Goals
[dezie | dezie ebe o si]Add upto 200+ of non-existing Igbo names on Igbo Wikitionary. Train at least 20 women with advanced digital skills.
Activities
[dezie | dezie ebe o si]- Pre-Project Research Compile a list of Non-existing Igbo names on Igbo wiktionary.
- Onsite Training Workshop (1 Day) Introduction to Igbo Wiktionary and how to add non-existing Igbo names on Igbo Wiktionary
- Online Follow-up Session (1 Day) Follow-up on participants and walk them through on the previous training and also respond to any follow-up questions they might have.
- Post-Workshop Engagement Evaluate and review of participants' contributions
