Description
[dezie | dezie ebe o si]This project aims to make the Igbo Wiktionary more organized, user-friendly, and content-rich. Currently, while some categories exist, many words are not properly categorized, making it difficult for users to navigate and find specific entries.
The project will involve:
- Reviewing existing entries and placing them in the correct categories.
- Creating new categories where necessary to improve organization.
- Adding 50 new Igbo words to expand the dictionary.
- Including images in entries to provide visual references and enhance understanding
Participants are encouraged to join the outreach dashboard

Expectations
[dezie | dezie ebe o si]At the end of this project, 50 new Igbo words will be added to the Wiktionary, existing entries will be properly categorised, and new categories will be created where needed. Images will also be added so that each entry has a visual reference. This, in turn, will make the Igbo Wiktionary easier to use and a richer resource for learning and preserving the language.
