Event:Igbo Wiktionary project
Overview
[dezie | dezie ebe o si]The Igbo Wiktionary project is a collaboration between the Igbo Wiki Fan Club Alvan and Igbo Wiki Fan Club Imo State University. It is aimed at improving the availability of audio content in the Igbo language. The project will focus on creating accurate and high quality audio pronunciations of Igbo words which will be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, ensuring accessibility to both Igbo and non Igbo speakers. These audio pronunciations will be added to their respective pages on the Igbo Wiktionary. By closing this content gap, the project will enhance community engagement, promote localization and language revitalization, and serve as a sustainable resource for research or reference.
