It serves as an opportunity for Wikipedia enthusiasts to reflect on the platform's impact, growth, and contributions to the global knowledge ecosystem. Each year, on or around January 15, Wikipedia supporters and editors come together in various communities to mark the occasion. This year, the Igbo Wikimedians User Group is joining other Wikipedia affiliates and user groups in commemorating the 24th Wikipedia Day.
