My name is Jefferson Petercan. I am an information scientist and librarian from Nigeria with a specialty in digital media. I am a passionate individual who contributes to Wikimedia Commons through the GLAM community in Nigeria. I use my brand identity and design skills to create eye-catching e-flyers for local and global Wikimedia communities, aiding communication and participation from community members through graphical storytelling.

About me

I am a Nigerian Wikimedian focusing mainly on GLAM-Wiki, digitizing historic architectural archives, and designing flyers that help communicate campaign ideas and tell stories using graphic design. I also create brand identity for conferences and affiliates on Wikimedia. I started in 2024 and have led and project-managed numerous campaigns in Nigeria.

My work

I coordinate GLAM communications and partnerships in a Nigerian Heritage group HCI, archives curation, project management, community management and engagement, I lead and manage campaigns to onboard new members and users to the GLAM community I also aid with communications for the Global GLAM community by designing electronic flyers to facilitate information.
