This page is where any Igbo Wikipedia user who wants to be an administrator should put their name. If you want to apply you should know the rules and the guidelines (read it!). You can also nominate someone else to be an admin (the person nominated should agree beforehand). Other users should then vote on whether or not they agree for the nominee to become an admin. If he or she receives the supporting vote then he or she should then put their name in the m:Requests for Permissions page so that other higher admins (called stewards) can know and make them an administrator.

Djsasso (talk · contribs) - I am an admin on both English Wikipedia and Simple English Wikipedia. I have been watching this wiki for awhile and notice that vandalism and inappropriate pages end up staying here too long due to not having an active administrator. Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?

A: Mostly to clean up vandalism and the like but will work in any area needed of an admin.

2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?

A: My best contributions to wikipedia are probably my participation in the ice hockey project on English Wikipedia. I would also say my admin work on English and Simple English Wikipedia also rate as some of my most important work.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

A: I rarely have encountered anything that I would consider a conflict. Usually more just heated debate, and in which case I usually just trying to rationally lay down my opinion on the appropriate talk page and keep an open mind about the other persons opinion and see if we can't come to either a compromise or some sort of agreement on which opinion is the one we should go with.
