English: The Parramatta Eels and the Newcastle Knights competing in an NRL elimination final at Browne Park in the regional Australian city of Rockhampton, Queensland on 12 September 2021. It was the third NRL game held in the city in four weeks after the New South Wales, Victoria, ACT and New Zealand NRL teams relocated to Queensland during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over 5,000 local spectators saw Parramatta win the game 28-20 and advance through to the second semi-final. NRL games were also held on the Sunshine Coast, and in Mackay and Redcliffe as well as the usual NRL venues in Townsville and Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.
