English: Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, FNIOB, FCAI (Born February 25, 1975) is a Nigerian Politician from Ebonyi State, South East of Nigeria. He is the Honourable Speaker of the 6th Ebonyi State House of Assembly (2019 till now), having been the Speaker of the erstwhile 5th Assembly of the State (2015-2019). He was the Deputy Chief Whip of the 4th Ebonyi State House of Assembly (2011-2015). During that period, he served as Chairman Ebonyi State House of Assembly Committee on Lands, Survey, Urban Development and Environment.
His journey into the State House of Assembly was under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), until 2020, when he moved to the All Progressives Congress (APC). On Thursday, May 26, 2022, he was elected as the APC Governorship Candidate in Ebonyi State, for the upcoming 2023 general elections.
