  • A renewal search was done at copyright.gov. There were only two renewals, both dealing with books serialized in the paper in 1959 and 1962. These renewals only deal with the portions of the books printed in the newspaper. Murder seed. By Philip MacDonald was serialized in the paper from September through November of 1959. The Toy sword. By Violet Elizabeth Cadell was serialized in 1962 during March and April of that year. There's no evidence of any renewal of copyright for the newspaper itself and nothing regarding the May 9, 1954 issue this photo is from.
