N'ọnwa Disemba 2020, a họpụtara ya ka ọ bụrụ onye otu ndị omeiwu maka Mfantsiman Constituency mgbe ọ gbasịrị asọmpi na 2020 Ghanaian General Election n'okpuru tiketi nke New Patriotic Party wee merie.[7] O nwetara vootu 36,091 nke na-anọchite anya 51.83% nke ngụkọta vootu. A họpụtara ya karịa James Essuon nke National Democratic Congress na Alijatu Ibrahim nke Ghana Union Movement. Ndị a nwetara vootu 32,379 na 911 n'otu n'otu site na ngụkọta vootu ziri ezi.
