It looks to me like this page should be updated, as the wiki has passed 350 main namespace pages. Cheers! Siebrand 13:19, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Bot policy
[dezie ebe o si]Hello. To facilitate steward granting of bot access, I'd like to implement the standard bot policy on this wiki. This will involve creating a redirect to the request page from Project:Bot policy, and adding a line at the top noting that it is used here. In particular, this policy allows automatic acceptance of known interlanguage linking bots (if this page says that is acceptable), which form the vast majority of such requests.
This policy is not incompatible with the current policy; additional requirements can be stated on the request page.
Please read the text at m:Bot policy before commenting. If you object, please say so; it will be implemented in one week if there is no objection, since it is particularly written to streamline bot requests on wikis with little or no community interested in bot access requests. —Pathoschild 18:03, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- That would be a great idea. By all means go ahead. -- Kerowren (talk · contribs) 20:41, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Done. —Pathoschild 00:02, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Updated needed
[dezie ebe o si]We need to remove YonaBot and ByrialBot from quota spots as they are inactive. I have posted a request at meta to get a steward to remove their flags per the removal discussion on the requests page. SassoBot which already has bot flags should be put in their place. -Djsasso 03:34, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- YonaBot and ByrialBot have had their flags removed. So SassoBot can take their place on the list anytime. -Djsasso 20:25, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
