Anthea Hamilton (born 1978) is a British artist who graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University (Leeds Beckett University) [1] and the Royal College of Art [2] and was one of the four shortlisted for the 2016 Turner Prize.  Hamilton is responsible for the most famous exhibition of the show for the door (After Gaetano Pesce) showing the door with a large open space that repeats the design from the architect  Italy Caetano Pesci, started in the early 1970s.  [2] [3] He is known for creating amazing paintings and large-scale installations.

His shows include Sorry I Didn't Come Back to Firstsite.

In 2017, she became the first black woman to be commissioned to create a work for Tate Britain's Duveen Galleries, and according to Alex Farquharson, director of Tate Britain, Hamilton has made "a unique contribution to British and national art.  the world is visual and imaginative.” [1] [2] His sculptures feature images that reuse images from his earlier works[1]
