Hopitsewah, or Sacred City is a Pomo settlement in Lake County, California. [1] It is a large area on the western side of Upper Lake; His exact whereabouts are unknown [1] [2]
[3]Joseph Warren Revere visited it in the mid-1840s; Revere is said to be the largest town in Clear Lake, with land that is closed and cultivated.
