English: Eziama Amechi Idodo is a town in Nkanu East Local Government Area, of Enugu State Nigeria. It lies between 6.33 in the North and 7.66 in the East with a population of about 50, 000 people. The community comprises six villages; each village is made up of clans and kinsmen with different heads and chairmen representing them in the Development Union. Development Union is the down-stream governance and development actors in the community. The land itself is made up of loamy soil, generally swampy in rainy season and very dusty in dry season. The main occupation of the people is farming and petty trading. While some people in the community work toward a future in which they can thrive, vulnerable families and individuals around the community still have basic, immediate needs. That’s why the Development Union supports empowerment programs for human development, as well as additional skills training or services that support the difficult journey out of poverty. This is the only health center that serves the entire population and this health center started operating in 2020 but there is no Doctor attached therein. The local nurses are half educated but they are using their experiences to serve the people. The health center is also ill-equipped.
